LAS VEGAS LOCAL BUSINESSES It’s good to be prepared when you’re onsite setting up your booth, engaging with customers during show hours, and packing up and shipping out when the event is over. What if you forget something? Or break something? Or want something? NADA offers a list of local businesses you can find within close proximity to the convention center.
WANT TO HAVE A GREAT EXPERIENCE?
You might be a first-time company or a seasoned exhibitor at our show. It’s still a good idea to know the Rules of Engagement when you’re working your booth. See the Top 8 List below.
- Keep Your Business Within Your Booth - Exhibitors must not distribute promotional material from any location outside of their assigned booth space. This includes restrooms, restaurants, workshop rooms and any other public area within or outside of the convention center.
- Convention Center Exterior Property is Off Limits - Exhibitors may not post ads or any other form of advertising/marketing media on any structure, vehicle or device on the exterior grounds of convention center property.
- Your Models’ Attire Should Be G-Rated - Exhibitors may use professional models within their booth space, however, the models must be tastefully dressed. (as determined by NADA Show Management.) They must also remain in the assigned booth space and cannot walk the expo hall aisles or other areas of the convention center for the purpose of soliciting business or directing/escorting attendees to their booth.
- Turn Down the Volume - Exhibitors using audio systems and/or live entertainment must keep amplification at a conversational level. The use of speakers will be permitted only if they are within the confines of the contracted exhibit space and facing inward and not toward the aisles. Adequate sound insulation must be built around the speakers to assure non-interference with neighboring exhibitors.
- This is Not Old McDonald’s Farm - Live animals will not be allowed within any booth space or the expo hall. Service dogs are the exception and are allowed under ADA guidelines.
- No Peanuts or Popcorn - Peanuts or popcorn in any form are not allowed in the expo halls. The aisle carpet is allergic due to damage to the carpet fibers.
- Noooooo! - No Packing Up Early - Sunday's final day is a full exhibit day from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Exhibitors must resist the urge and ARE NOT authorized to begin packing up their booths until the closing announcements have been made.
- DO NOT EVER CHASE, CONFRONT, OR STALK ATTENDEES OUTSIDE YOUR BOOTH PARAMETERS. THIS ONE BEHAVIOR IS THE #1 TOP COMPLAINT OF NADA ATTENDEES, AND IT'S THE BEST WAY TO DERAIL YOUR ROI GOALS AND OBJECTIVES. You know this is the most important because it is in ALL CAPS. Do not ignore. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
