Myra Dandridge visited LEXUS OF NEW ORLEANS and Lakeside Toyota where she met with apprentices from the NADA-National Urban League Technician Apprenticeship program. The pilot program was created to address the nationwide shortage of automotive technicians and seeks to fill a void in the industry left by retiring baby boomers and those who left the workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic. Alexandria Bellvie, Randall Johnson, and Kobe Ford are student technicians, who have been hired by partner dealerships.    Thank you to Bryan Gaude of Lakeside Toyota, Mark Marquette of Lexus New Orleans, and Ronnie King and Cherie LaCour-Duckworth of the Urban League Of Louisiana for a wonderful visit!
